Muktinath kashetra(Salvation), Temple of Lord Vishnu, Godess Laxmi, Godess Saraswati, Godess Janki, Garuda, Luv-Kush and SaptRishies, only place in world where Saligram can be found; considered by Hindu as incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Two Kundas (Water pond) to wash away negative karma, 108 Dhaara hence name of ‘Muktidhaara’, just behind the temple, continuously burning flame from running water sound ‘Jwalamayi Temple’, footsteps of Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan, beautiful city Pokhara, Manokamana Devi Temple (Shaktipith). It is believed that Godess Manokamana grants the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine to worship her.

+Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport & take you to the hotel. In the evening we will have a group meeting for briefing for the Yatra. We suggest you take flight which arrives early in the morning to Kathmandu for good rest.

+DAY 02 : Drive to Pokhra via Manokamna Temple (800 m / 2624 Ft )

After breakfast Scenic drive to Pokhara. On the way visit Manakamana wish fulfilling Goddess temple by cable car. Lunch will be served at cable car station. Overnight in a hotel in Pokhara.

+DAY 03 : Fly Jomsom, Drive to Muktinath and back to Jomsom, (3810m/12,496ft)

Early morning fly to Jomsom, drive 21 km to Muktinath for the Darshan. Holy bath and Puja at Muktinath temple. Darshan of Bhagwan Shree Swamynarayan’s Holy footsteps. Drive back to Jomsom

+DAY 04 : Fly Jomsom to Pokhara and sightseeing in Pokhra

Fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom, explore important sights in Pokhara. Overnight in a hotel.

+ Day 05 : Fly back to Kathmandu and meet the group for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport & take you to the hotel. In the evening we will have a group meeting for two hours of briefing for the Yatra. Overnight in the hotel in Kathmandu.

+DAY 06 : Rudrabhishek at Pashupatinath temple and Sightseeing

Early in the morning we will perform Rudrabhishek in Pashupatinath temple. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing to Budhanilkantha and Darbar square.
Overnight in the hotel in Kathmandu.

+DAY 07 : Fly to Lhasa

After breakfast get transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu to board your flight to Lhasa, Tibet. After arriving at Gonggar Airport in Lhasa it will take about 2 hours for the group to reach the hotel.
Spend the first day free to acclimatize with the altitude as Kathmandu is at 1200 m above sea level and Lhasa is at 3650m. If time and health permits we will visit the sera monastery in the evening. Overnight in Lhasa hotel.

+DAY 08 : Acclimatization day in Lhasa

Lhasa - After breakfast take a tour of Lhasa visiting Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street and Potala Palace.

DAY 09 : Drive to Shigatse (3900 m) - 350 km / 7-8 hrs.
DAY 10 : Drive to Saga (4350 m) 608 km. / 12-13 hrs.
+DAY 11 : Drive Saga to Lake Mansarovar (4750m, 14,180 ft) 450 km Travel time: 8 – 9 hours

The road condition is fair. Enjoy vast Tibetan plateau, landscape changes from sandy dunes to rocky vistas to savannah type. This is the most auspicious day for all of us, as some of you might have waited for so long, maybe since many life times to get the first glimpse of holy Mt. Kailas and sacred Lake Mansarovar. We will perform half Mansarovar Parikrama by jeep. Overnight at guesthouse / camp at Mansarovar.

+DAY 12 : Rest/acclimatization at Lake Mansarovar

Experience of being in the abode of God: Puja, Havan-worship, Meditation, Holy dip, Tarpan etc. Here relax and explore around the Mansarovar area. Overnight at same guest house.

+DAY 13 : Drive Darchen to Tarboche (13 km) and trek to Derapuk (12 km)-First day of Parikrama Trekking time: 6 to 7 hours

Drive about one hour to Darchen and then Drive about 13 km. to Tarboche. (For those yatris who are not joining for Parikrama, they can do a small parikrama about 100 mt. of Tarboche flag, which is also considered as Parikrama of holy Mt. Kailas). Parikram will start on foot or horse/yak-back from here. The trail leads to few ups and downs till Derapuk. Be blessed by seeing the magnificent view of north face, of holy Mt. Kailas.
Overnight in guest house/camp.

+DAY 14 : Trek from Derapuk to Dolmalapass to Zhutulpuk Valley (4760m) 15 km – Second day of Parikrama. Trekking or Horseback time: 9 to 10 hours

This is the toughest day of the yatra. To Dolmala, it is 6 kilometers uphill trekking. At Dolmala pray and perform puja for 10 to 15 minutes. After Dolomala pass is Gaurikund. From here you will start descending for another 6 kilometers. Trail is very slippery and you have to hop from rock to rock. Please use your walking stick. A final steep descending staircase brings you to the valley floor. Additional 4 kilometers of gradual walk to campsite. Overnight at camp located on beautiful site.

+DAY 15 : Trek from Zhutulpuk to end of parikrama and Drive to Mansarovar and to Saga – Third day of Parikrama Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours

Very pleasant walk. Trail is very beautiful. Many caves, Mani stones and birds can be seen. This is valley of enlightenment. Land cruiser will be waiting near Darchen where our Parikrama ends. Drive about two hours to ‘Tirthputri’. From the spiritual point of view this place is as important as Mt.Kailash and Mansarovar. We will spend Half an hour here and then we will drive to Lake Mansarovar for final holy bath and puja, then continue drive back to Saga. Overnight in guest house.

+DAY 16 : Drive Saga to Shigatse (608 km)

We are now on return journey. Overnight at guest house in Shigatse.
