+DAY 01 : Arrival Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport & take you to the hotel. In the evening we will have a group meeting for briefing for the Yatra. Overnight in the hotel. We suggest you take flight which arrives early in the morning to Kathmandu for good rest.

+DAY 02 : Sightseeing and preparation

Early in the morning we will perform Rudrabhishek in Pashupatinath temple. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing to Budhanilkantha and Darbar square. Overnight in the hotel in Kathmandu.

+DAY 03 : Drive to Nyalam (entry Tibet)

Travel time:7 to 8 hrs
After breakfast depart for Kodari border. Lunch at Kodari border. Clear Nepali customs/immigration.15 minutes walk across Friendship Bridge to Tibet where the Chinese border police will check passport & visa. Walk to your allotted land- cruiser (4 yatris plus a driver and possibly one staff per vehicle). Land cruiser will have a room for backpack and small purse only. All the other bags (duffle bag will be provided by us) will be carried by trucks throughout the trip. 30 minutes drive from Kodari to Zhangmu, where second immigration formalities will be done. From Zhangmu to Nyalam is 3 to 4 hours up hill scenic drive. Night halt at guesthouse in Nyalam. In Tibet guesthouses and hotels are very simple and basic.

+DAY 04 : Rest at Nyalam

After breakfast, small walk through Nyalam village to visit monastery, and 2 hours trek for acclimatization. Night halt at the same guesthouse

+ DAY 05 : Drive to Saga

Travel time: 6 to 7 hours
Enjoy the view of snow capped mountains; we will be passing through first pass,f Lalung La Pass (5000m) from where magnificent view of Himalayan peaks can be seen, if weather favors us, such as Gaurishanker, Shishapangma to Langtang Himal. On way we will be crossing holy river Bhramaputra. Night halt at hotel in Saga.

+DAY 06 : Drive to holy Lake Manasarovar

Travel time: 8 - 9 hours
The drive is very long. The road condition is fair. Enjoy vast Tibetan plateau, landscape changes from sandy dunes to rocky vistas to savannah type This is the most auspicious day for all of us, as some of you might have waited for so long, maybe since many life times to get the first glimpse of holy Mt.Kailas and sacred Lake Mansarovar. We will perform half Mansarovar Parikrama by jeep. Overnight at guesthouse/camp at Lake Mansarovar.

+DAY 07 : Puja Hawan in Lake

The experience of being in the abode of God. A lifetime achievement: Puja, Havan-worship, Meditation, Holy dip, Tarpan etc. Here relax and explore around the Mansarovar area. Overnight at same guesthouse.

+ DAY 08 : Drive to Darchen

Continue Mansarovar Parikrama by jeep. On the way visit Chue monastery and drive to Darchen. After lunch drive to Ashtapada and Nandi darshan. Book horse or yak, and porter with your organizers. Telephone services are available in Darchen. There are few jewelry and some souvenir shops.

+DAY 09 : Drive/Trek to Diraphuk

Travel time:6 to 7 hours
Drive about 13 km. to Tarboche. (For those yatris who are not joining for Parikrama, they can do a small parikrama about 100 mt. of Tarboche flag, which is also considered as Parikrama of holy Mt. Kailas). Then additional two kilometers by jeep to begin yatra on foot or horse/yak-back. The trail leads to few ups and downs till Derapuk. Be blessed by seeing the magnificent view of north face, of holy mountain Mt. Kailas. Overnight in guesthouse/camp.

+ DAY 10 : Trek to Zutholphuk

Travel time:9 to 10 hour
This is the toughest day of the yatra. To Dolmala, it is 6 kilometers uphill trekking. At Dolmala pray and perform puja for 10 to 15 minutes. After Dolomala pass is Gaurikund. From here you will start descending for another 6 kilometers. Trail is very slippery and you have to hop from rock to rock. Please use your walking stick. A final steep descending staircase brings you to the valley floor. Additional 3 kilometers of gradual walk to campsite. Overnight at camp located on beautiful site.

+DAY 11 : Trek/drive to Dongba via lake
Travel time:5 to 6 hours
Very pleasant walk. Trail is very beautiful. Many caves, Mani stones and birds can be seen. This is valley of enlightenment. Land cruiser will be waiting near Darchen where our Parikrama ends. Drive about two hours to ‘Tirthputri’. From the spiritual point of view this place is as important as Mt.Kailas and Mansarovar. We will spend Half an hour here and then we will drive to Lake Mansarovar for final holy bath and puja then continue drive back to Paryang Overnight in guest house

+ DAY 12 : Drive to Nyalam

We are now on return journey. Overnight at local guesthouse in Nyalam

+DAY 13 : Drive to Kathmandu

Start early in the morning. First immigration at Zhangmu and then drive half an hour to Kodari border. Leave our Land Cruiser here and walk through Friendship Bridge. Coach will be waiting, drive to Kathmandu

+DAY 14 : Kathmandu to Delhi to Leh

+DAY 15 : Leh Sightseeing

After breakfast visit for local sightseeing of Hall of Fame, GurudwaraPathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam View where Indus & Zanskar River meet.

+DAY 16 : Leh to Nubravalley

After breakfast at hotel drive towards Nubra valley. Popularly known as Dorma or "the valley of flowers" via Khardungla Pass - the world's one of the highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival, check-in to your Hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Later visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride (ride on direct payment basis). Overnight stay in Nubra.

+DAY 17 : Nubravalley to Leh

After breakfast you will leave for Leh on the same route to Nubra. Afternoon you will be taken to visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.

+DAY 18 : Leh to Pengong and back

After breakfast you will leave for Leh on the same route to Nubra. Afternoon you will we taken to visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.

+DAY 19 : Leh to Kargil

Leave for Kargil after breakfast and visit Hall of Fame, (Army museum) Pather Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, confluence of the mighty indus and zanskar river, lamayuru monastery, moonland, Mulbeck chamba and finally reach Kargil by evening. O/N stay at Kargil Tourist Camp

+DAY 20 : Kargil to Sonmarg

 Leave for Sonamarg after breakfast visiting Drass war memorial, Tiger Hill, Tololing Hill experiencing the sacrifices of Indian army during the infamous Kargil war of 1999 and finally reach Sonamarg by afternoon, get dropped at your Hotel.

+DAY 21 : Holy cave and back to Sonmarg

Start early morning by Helicopter to Panchtari and Panchtarni to Holy cave is 6 km trek/doli/horse.Darshan, pooja, aarti at Amarnath cave and back to Sonmarg

+DAY 22 : Drive Srinagar and sight seeing

+DAY 24 : Fly to Jammu-Vaishnodevi

Fly to jammu. We will start going up to Vaishnovidevi temple and back to the hotel, overnight at hotel.

+DAY 25 : Katra to Shivkhodi and back to Katra

In the morning we will drive 80 kmt to Ransoo &from Ransoo its 4kmr Trek to visit Shiv Khodi cave, back 4 km down to Ransoo and drive 80 kmt to back to Katra.

+DAY 26 : Fly Delhi

+1-Q AmarnathYatraRoute - From Jammu or Srinagar ?
Our Plan includes Vaishnovidevi and Shivkhodi along with Amarnathyatra. This year wehave also included Leh and Ladakh. Our starting and ending point depends on how and what you are choosing from our regular itinerary.Normally, our group flies to Jammu or Srinagar from Delhi according to plan and join us. Please email us for our year’s plan.
+2-Q What is the mode of transport till Holy cave?
There are three different ways to go to Holy cave -
Chandanvadi to Amarnath baba’s cave: This is the longest route. It takes four days from Chandvadi to Chandanvadi. Please expect less than basic arrangements for accommodation.
Baltal to Amarnathbaba’s cave: You can do this in a day. It’s about 18 km one-way. You can also stay one night at Panchtarni and come back on second day.
Helicopter from Baltal, Neelgrah or Pahelgam to Panchtarni: this is the shortest route for Amarnathbaba’s cave. It is extremely difficult to get Helicopter tickets. Normally it costs Rs 3500 but you end up paying triple the money. The helicopter ride is for 10 minutes to Panchtarni. Panchtarni to Amarnathbaba’s cave is 6kms. You can get Doli or horse to go to the Cave. You may also like to walk up.
+3-Q Which is the best season to travel to AmarnathYatra?

AmarnathYatra normally opens on July 1st and ends in mid of August.

+ 4-Q Can my senior citizen parents go for this yatra?
Yes they can if they are medically fit.
+ 5-Q Is medical certificate necessary for this yatra?
Yes, it is compulsory. You have to get it from the assigned doctors from government.
+ 6-Q What kind of weather we can expect during Amarnathyatra?
Its warm when you start from down but its ice glacier when you approach Baba’s cave. Its cold up there.

You can hire Helicopter, Doli, horse or you can walk.

From down to temple is about 14 kms. Yes you can walk.
+ 10-Q What is Shivkhodi caves?
Shivkhodi is beautiful caves. It’s about five hours drive from Katra-Jammu. There is Swayambhu Lingam in the cave. One must not miss to visit these caves
